Thailie Mace

Thailie Mace is a micro-macramé artist creating intentional gemstone jewellery to support and uplift everyday life. Each piece is lovingly knotted with care, honouring the unique energy and meaning of every stone. Inspired by her travels through South America, Thailie’s work is rooted in connection  to self, others, and earth. With a deep respect for the natural world, she sources her gemstones from pre-loved jewellery, keeping her craft as sustainable and ethical as possible.

Libby Earland

Lifestyle Photography

Libby is a Hampshire based photographer, working across portraiture and lifestyle. Shooting with both film and digital photography, her practice is grounded in visual storytelling and real emotion. Her images are honest and natural, capturing fleeting moments and quiet narratives that reflect the beauty in everyday life. She works as a portrait photographer for families, couples and brands and also as a freelance picture editor for publishers. The images on show at this artist residency are curated as analogue postcards, embracing the irregularities of film and magic of escapes where imperfections are to be loved and celebrated.

On Display: “Wish You Were Here”, all taken on  35mm film cameras.

Claire Luffman

Charcoal Art

Claire is an amateur charcoal artist who began drawing just over a year ago. Their work focuses on landscape pieces inspired by time spent outdoors, where they feel most connected to the world around them. Drawing offers a way for her to quiet the mind and become fully present, observing not only the physical landscape, but also the energy and atmosphere of the places they visit. Working with charcoal provides a meditative, intuitive process that feels both cathartic and freeing. Each piece reflects a personal journey shaped by mindfulness, observation, and time spent in nature.

Josie Butler

Botanical plaster relief art

Josephine is a botanical & life plaster caster. Inspired by the beautiful landscape and coastline of the south of England. Plaster relief is an artform in which life and nature can be
captured in time and preserved.  Fragility, strength and resilience can be encapsulated and represented so well in this medium. She fell in love with this art form because of the time, process, detail and sensory elements required in creating each unique piece. A relief cast is made by pressing foliage and flowers into clay. Then carefully removing, to leave an impression. The clay imprint becomes the mould in which the plaster is poured into.  Once set, the clay can be removed, revealing the 3D plaster relief. Josephine has always lived on the south coast and currently lives in Southsea, Portsmouth
with her family. She enjoys collaborating with other creatives, community and sharing botanical relief art with others.
